Take a look at some of our best villas in Italy....
Best for families...
We think the key to a successful holiday with children, whatever their age, is to make sure that the kids are happy. After all, if the kids are enjoying themselves, then the parents are bound to have a smile on their faces too! We think that Lake Maggiore is one of the best holiday destinations in Italy for families. There is just so much for families to see and do, whatever the age of the children, whether it’s water sports and boat rides on the lake, adventure courses in the trees or bucket rides up the mountainside. But, however much there is to see and do, one of the first things that teenagers look for in a villa holiday is good WIFI and this Italian Lakes villa certainly has that. Not only that but it also has an XBOX to keep the older kids entertained too, whilst for families with toddlers, it comes with travel cot, stroller and highchair. And to satisfy everyone’s needs there is even a swimming pool! This villa is perfect for family holidays by the lake.
Best for foodies...
Italy is renowned for it’s superb cuisine, with an abundance of delicious regional specialities to savour wherever you stay. However, this stunning villa in Umbria is definitely one of the best bases for any foodies out there. Whilst the kitchen in villa rental is beautiful and fully equipped for anyone looking to cater for themselves, we’re pretty sure guests will be too tempted to try out the amazing selection of restaurants on offer in the city of Spello rather than exert themselves in the kitchen. And with over 40 restaurants all of which are accessible on foot from the villa, there is no shortage of great eating establishments to try.
Best for football fans...
Italy is renowned for it’s love of football, even claiming to have invented the sport (although I’m sure that most Brits will challenge this assumption!). Whenever the national team play and win, you’ll certainly be assured of hearing the sound of car horns blaring, and fans singing and dancing in the streets. Whilst the nation’s most famous football teams tend to be based in North or Central Italy, we think this villa in the South of the country has got to be the perfect villa for football fans. After all, this 5 bedroom villa in Puglia not only boasts its own private swimming pool but even has its own football pitch, perfect for any budding footballers.
Best for history lovers...
Italy is renowned for its history as much as for its love of football and many of the properties within the Bookings For You portfolio are steeped in history. Take this beautiful Tuscany villa, filled with beautiful frescoed ceilings, antique furnishings and family heirlooms. With paintings by Dario Neri and chandeliers by Murano, anyone who appreciates fine art and antiques will be in heaven with a holiday here! And let’s be real Tuscany and its rolling hills are the perfect setting to appreciate this Italian villa.

Best for book worms...
We think that holidays are the perfect opportunity to curl up with a good book. Away from the hustle and bustle of life, holidaymakers have the chance to actually put their feet up and relax. And we think the library in this stunning villa in Tuscany is the perfect place to escape into your favourite novel. All four walls are lined with shelves filled top to bottom with books, and which furnishings that almost transport you into a world of Harry Potter... it’s a magical room which would surely inspire even the most unenthusiastic of readers to pick up a book.
Best for party animals...
Of course, not everyone is looking for a slower pace of life during their Italian holiday. Some head to Italy to celebrate a special occasion, whether that’s a birthday, anniversary or perhaps even to get married. And we think this villa in Tuscany is the perfect place for a party! Since the villa owners are also renowned chefs, with what we think is the best cake shop in the whole of Tuscany, not only does this luxury villa holidays provide the perfect setting for any celebration, but the owners can also provide all the catering required too.
Best for incurable romantics...
With St Valentine’s roots firmly in Italy, no list of our favourite villas in Italy would be complete without something to offer the starry eyed lovers amongst you. And this villa in Umbria is the perfect bolthole for two. This perfect 2 bedroom retreat offers complete privacy from prying eyes, with a charming private walled garden and enjoying stunning views over the rolling hills of Umbria from the bedroom windows.
Best for animal lovers...
But let’s not forget our four legged friends.... We recognise that for many holidaymakers these days don’t want to leave their four legged friends at home, so Bookings For You have a range of holiday villas and apartments that are pet friendly. These include Villa Alba, a stunning 3 bedroom lakeside villa in the Italian Lakes as well as this nearby 3 bedroom Italian Lakes apartment enjoying stunning lake views.
Best for nature lovers...
Le Marche must be one of the most stunning regions of Italy but, as it’s still relatively unknown, it’s also a region completely unspoilt by tourism. This Le Marche villa is the ideal base from which to experience this beautiful part of Italy and the Italian coast. From the Sibillini National Park to the Furlo Gorge Nature Reserve and the semi wild coastline of the Parco del Conero, there is wildlife in abundance in Le Marche for nature lovers to enjoy.
Best for sun worshippers...
With no less than 300 sunny days to enjoy every year, Puglia must surely be the first place to head to if you’re looking for sunshine! The Summer in Puglia is a long and pleasant one with temperatures usually already in the low twenties by April, soaring above 30 degrees centigrade in the peak Summer months and with the option of usually being able to swim in the sea as late as October. And this villa in Puglia is the perfect place to soak up the sun’s rays, either on roof terrace that enjoys views of the coastline or by the private pool.
Best for city types....
If you’re looking for the sights and sounds of a city break, then look no further than this 2 bedroom apartment in Florence. Florence is the perfect city destination with its stunning architecture and incredible sights, from the Uffizi to the Duomo and from the Ponte Vecchio to the Palazzo Pitti. The city is filled with incredible architecture and the most incredible gardens.
Best for eco warriers...
With the need to conserve the world’s resources, it’s nice to be able to offset some of those flight emissions en route with a stay at an eco friendly property, especially a luxurious one at that! Villa Ichiani is a beautiful 4 bedroom Puglia villa which ticks all the boxes in terms of it’s green credentials. It has even won awards for it’s ‘green’ credentials including a Casa Clima Global Gold Award for it incredible energy efficiency and a 2017 SMART building award. The technology of this Italian villa is truly incredible.
