Should I go to Oasis? Definitely, Maybe? Will it Be Worth It?

If you grew up with the sounds of Wonder Wall, you may, like me be thinking that all the roads are winding towards trying to get tickets to see Oasis at Wembley. I do feel slight FOMO that if I don't go will I regret it.

Memories of seeing Oasis perform at Knebworth swarm this week, a time when heading off to concerts in your teens without parents was the norm. Keeping your friend happy who was obsessed with Liam. And generally thinking that you’ve gotta roll with it! Sorry how many more lyrics can I fit in. I’ve become slightly consumed by the idea of Oasis playing since it was hinted at. As a 40 plus menopausal woman the news has shot me right back to my teens and a different feeling I thought may have been buried.

Is this why so many are hysterical about the news. It’s not like Liam and Noel have been charming characters, definitely, maybe not the types of boys I want my son emulating. So why is it ok for me to want to hear them again. To be back there again. Flipping nostaglia!

But forget my teen/mid-life angst, do you want to go? Will it be worth it? How much will it cost? This is why you’re here. SO don’t let anyone get in your way…

So registration for the pre-sale ticket ballot has already opened and will close at 19:00 BST on Wednesday.

There is a pre-sale ballot before the general sale which will take place on Friday 30 August 2024.

I’m asking myself the same question. Also can I be bothered to sit in a queue for these? I know, I know mid-life non queuing issues. These are the tips to make sure you have the best chance of grabbing tickets to see Oasis.

Now if that didn’t sound too much, I just managed to register for the ballot so it can’t be that hard. Some might say we will find a brighter day, and get tickets!!
